1. Using MirrorBox
These Terms of Service govern your use of MirrorBox and its web and mobile applications. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use MirrorBox for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept them on its behalf.
MirrorBox is a product of Vexil LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company (Business ID 0008061085), 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Vexil LLC. Full company details are at vexil.io/legal.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for the account credentials and activity associated with your account. Keep your sign-in method secure, provide accurate information, and tell us promptly if you believe your account was compromised. You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your location requires a higher minimum age to use online services, and you must give your real age when asked. We delete accounts created by people below the minimum age.
3. Messages and public cards
MirrorBox lets people send prompts, notes, songs, vibes, memories, and other short submissions to a profile. You control whether eligible submissions are pinned or made public. Before publishing a card, make sure you have the right to share its text, names, links, images, or other material. A card that is visible on a public profile may be copied or shared by other people. MirrorBox may also send you questions to answer; these are always shown as coming from MirrorBox, never as messages from another person, and you can turn them off in your notification settings.
Your wall is yours to decorate: only you can edit it, and everyone else can only see it. Everything on a wall must follow these terms and our Community Guidelines. You choose whether your wall is shown on other websites and whether people there can send you questions from it. Walls with photos may be reviewed before they appear, and we may remove a wall that breaks the rules.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use MirrorBox to:
- threaten, harass, stalk, bully, or target another person;
- share sexual exploitation material, non-consensual intimate material, or content involving minors;
- encourage violence, self-harm, or dangerous illegal activity;
- impersonate someone, misrepresent an affiliation, or invade another person’s privacy;
- send spam, phishing, malware, deceptive promotions, or automated bulk messages;
- interfere with the service, bypass limits, or access accounts or data without permission; or
- break a law or violate another person’s rights.
5. Moderation and enforcement
We may review, limit, remove, or hide content and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. We may also act to protect people, the service, or the integrity of an investigation. Where available, follow the in-product appeal or support process to ask us to review an enforcement decision.
6. Your content and our license
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant MirrorBox a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, display, transmit, and adapt that content as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the service. This license ends for content when it is deleted, except where retention is required for safety, legal, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.
7. Third-party services and links
Sign-in providers, hosting providers, analytics, app stores and payment processors, and links shared by users may be operated by third parties. Their own terms and privacy practices apply. MirrorBox is not responsible for third-party products or content outside our control.
You can link your MirrorBox account to other websites that work with MirrorBox. You decide what each site may do when you link it, and you can unlink it at any time. Those sites are run by third parties under their own terms. Websites that use MirrorBox accounts or show walls must apply and be approved by MirrorBox first, and must follow our developer rules: they may only use what people approve, must remove a wall when it is no longer available, and must not show walls of people under 18 if their site is for adults. We may suspend a site that breaks these rules.
8. MirrorBox+ subscriptions
MirrorBox+ is an optional paid subscription that adds features such as premium story templates, page themes, a profile badge, insights, and the friends' portrait. Everything needed to receive, reply to, block, report, and filter messages stays free. MirrorBox+ never reveals who sent an anonymous message.
You buy MirrorBox+ through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price, billing period, and any free trial are shown before you confirm. Payment is charged to your store account. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancelling stops future renewals and you keep MirrorBox+ until the end of the period you paid for. If you cancel during a free trial, you won't be charged. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Deleting your MirrorBox account does not cancel a store subscription, so cancel it in your store account first.
We may change what MirrorBox+ includes or its price. Price changes apply from your next renewal and follow the store's rules for notifying you. If a subscription ends, premium settings such as a page theme are kept but stop showing until you subscribe again.
9. Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep MirrorBox useful and available, but the service may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, MirrorBox is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Liability and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, Vexil LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. You agree to reimburse us for reasonable losses resulting from your unlawful use of MirrorBox or your violation of these terms, subject to applicable law.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Contact us with questions. The parties expect disputes to be handled under the laws and courts of the State of New Mexico, USA, unless mandatory local law says otherwise.
